- Greaser: Applicants who have completed 10th Class pass and also Three years experience in a seagoing mechanized vessel on main and auxiliary maintenance or equivalent from a recognized Institute for Customs Recruitment 2018.
- Seaman: Applicants who have completed 10th Class pass or equivalent and also Three years experience in a seagoing mechanized vessel with two years in helmsman and seamanship work or equivalent from a recognized Institute for Customs Recruitment 2018.
