Eligibility Criteria for Goa FSL Posts
1. Scientific Officer (SOC)
- Qualification: Master’s in Forensic Science, Chemistry, Zoology, Microbiology, Genetics, Biotechnology, or Physics (2nd class).
- Experience: 2 years in a forensic lab/crime scene.
- Other: Knowledge of Konkani and computers. Must meet physical & vision standards.
2. Scientific Assistant (SOC)
- Qualification: Master’s in relevant sciences (as above).
- Experience: Research/analytical experience in forensic/research institutions.
- Other: Computer and Konkani knowledge, physical and vision fitness.
3. Searcher (SOC)
- Qualification: Bachelor’s in Science.
- Other: Computer and Konkani knowledge, physical and vision fitness.
4. Photographer
- Qualification: SSC with Diploma in Photography.
- Experience: 1 year (or 3 years with Certificate course).
- Other: Konkani knowledge, physically fit.
5. Videographer
- Qualification: SSC with Diploma in Photography.
- Experience: 1 year (or 3 years with Certificate course).
- Other: Konkani knowledge, physically fit.
6. Heavy Vehicle Driver
- Qualification: SSC with valid heavy vehicle license.
- Experience: 2 years driving experience.
- Other: Physically fit, knowledge of Konkani.
Desirable for all roles: Knowledge of Marathi.

Duties of Selected Candidates
- All roles require 24×7 availability for crime scene visits, including weekends and holidays.
- Scientific roles involve evidence collection, analysis, reporting, and court testimony.
- Photographer/Videographer roles focus on crime scene documentation.
- Driver will operate mobile forensic units.
