Educational Qualification for BTSC Staff Nurse Recruitment 2025
To apply for the BTSC Staff Nurse Recruitment 2025, candidates must have:
- Passed General Nursing and Midwifery (GNM) from an institute recognized by the Indian Nursing Council (INC).
- Candidates from outside Bihar must get eligibility from INC, New Delhi.
- B.Sc. Nursing graduates are also eligible.
- Must be registered with the Bihar Nurses Registration Council, Patna.

Selection Process for BTSC Staff Nurse Recruitment 2025
- Written Exam (Computer-Based Test – CBT) – 75 Marks
- 100 Objective questions (MCQ)
- 2 hours duration
- Syllabus based on GNM level
- Negative marking: 0.25 mark deducted per wrong answer
- Work Experience – 25 Marks
- 5 marks per year (up to max 25 marks)
- Valid only for contractual nurses working in Bihar govt./non-private hospitals
- Final Merit = Written Exam Marks + Experience Marks (Total 100 Marks)
Minimum qualifying marks:
UR – 40%, BC – 36.5%, VBC – 34%, SC/ST/Women/PwD – 32%
