Customs Pune Group C Recruitment 2025: The Office of the Commissioner of Customs, Pune has released an official notification inviting applications from eligible Indian nationals for recruitment to Group ‘C’ (Non-Gazetted/Non-Ministerial) posts under the Customs Marine Wing. Interested and medically fit candidates can apply for the posts of Seaman, Greaser, and Tradesman before the closing date, June 10, 2025.

Customs Pune Educational Qualifications and Experience
1. Seaman
Essential Qualification:
- 10th Class pass or equivalent.
- Three years’ experience in sea-going mechanised vessels, with at least two years in helmsman and seamanship work.
- Certificate of Competency as “Mate of Fishing Vessel” issued by the Marine Mercantile Department.
2. Greaser
Essential Qualification:
- 10th Class pass or equivalent.
- Three years’ experience on mechanised sea vessels in main and auxiliary machinery maintenance.
3. Tradesman
Essential Qualification:
- 10th Class pass or equivalent.
- ITI Certificate in Mechanic (Diesel/Mechanic/Fitter/Turner/Welder/Electrician/Instrumental/Carpentry).
- Two years’ experience in Engineering/Automobile/Ship Repair Organization.
Desirable Qualification:
- Experience in FRP lamination and repair work.
- Knowledge of first aid, fire fighting, or industrial safety.
Selection Process
- Candidates will undergo a Written Examination followed by a Physical Endurance Test (PET) (Swimming).
- Final selection is subject to medical fitness.
