DRDO LRDE Apprentice Recruitment 2025: The Defence Research and Development Organisation’s (DRDO) Electronics and Radar Development Establishment (LRDE), Bengaluru, has released a notification for recruitment to 118 Apprentice posts for the financial year 2025–26. This includes Graduate, Diploma, and ITI (Technician-Vocational) Apprenticeships under the provisions of the Apprentices Act, 1961.
Interested and eligible Indian nationals can apply online through the National Apprenticeship Training Scheme (NATS) and National Apprenticeship Promotion Scheme (NAPS) portals. The last date to apply is May 25, 2025.
DRDO LRDE Apprentice Recruitment 2025 and Stipend
Graduate Apprentices (58 posts):
Engineering Disciplines (28 posts)
- Electronics & Communication, Computer Science/IT, Mechanical, Electrical/Electronics
- Stipend: ₹9,000/month
Non-Engineering Disciplines (30 posts)
- B.Sc. (Chemistry/CS/Electronics/Math/Physics/PCM), B.Com, BBA, BCA, B.Lib.Sc
- Stipend: ₹9,000/month
Diploma Apprentices (30 posts):
- Disciplines: Electronics, Computer Science/IT, Mechanical, Automobile, Production, Electrical, Civil
- Stipend: ₹8,000/month
ITI (Vocational Technician) Apprentices (30 posts):
- Trades: COPA, Electrician, Electronics Mechanic, Fitter, Machinist, Welder, Turner, Draughtsman (Mech.), Painter, Photographer, Motor Vehicle Mechanic
- Stipend: ₹7,000/month

DRDO LRDE Apprentice Recruitment Eligibility Criteria
- Candidates must be Indian nationals.
- Minimum age: 18 years as of the last application date.
- Only those who have passed in 2023 or later are eligible to apply.
- Candidates must not have undergone apprenticeship training or job experience of one year or more.
- Higher qualification holders are not eligible.
- For Graduate and Diploma: Must hold a relevant degree or diploma from a recognized university or technical board.
- For ITI: Must possess NCVT-approved trade certificates in the relevant disciplines.

For Graduate and Diploma Apprentices:
- Visit the NATS portal.
- Register as a student.
- Search and apply for LRDE Apprenticeship using Establishment ID: SKABNC000060.
For ITI Apprentices (Technician-Vocational):
- Go to the NAPS portal.
- Register and login as a candidate.
- Apply for LRDE opportunities using Establishment Code: E05162900038.
Selection Process for DRDO LRDE Apprentice Recruitment
- Candidates will be shortlisted based on academic merit, written test, or interview as required.
- Final selection is subject to document and certificate verification.
- Selected candidates must produce a Police Verification Certificate and Phy sical Fitness Certificate at the time of joining.
