GMRC Recruitment 2025: Gujarat Metro Rail Corporation (GMRC) Limited, which is jointly owned by the Government of India and the Government of Gujarat, is inviting online applications from qualified and experienced candidates. The vacancies are for the posts of Chief General Manager (CGM) or General Manager (GM) in the areas of Track, Planning & Design, and Contracts.

These positions are available on a contract, deputation, or post-retirement basis for the Ahmedabad Metro Rail Project Phase-II. Interested candidates can apply online between 30th April and 21st May 2025.

Eligibility Criteria for GMRC Recruitment 2025

Education:

All candidates must have a Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering from a government-recognized university or institute.

Work Experience:

  • Minimum 10 years of relevant experience required in the specific domain (Track / Planning & Design / Contract).
  • For Chief General Manager (CGM):
    • Minimum 20 years of total experience (23 years for private sector applicants).
  • For General Manager (GM):
    • Minimum 17 years of total experience (20 years for private sector applicants).

Maximum Age:

  • CGM: 57 years (contract), 58 years (deputation), 62 years (post-superannuation)
  • GM: 57 years (contract), 58 years (deputation), 62 years (post-superannuation)

Pay Scale

  • ₹1,20,000 – ₹2,80,000 (IDA Pay Scale)
  • For private sector candidates, the minimum CTC should be ₹2,50,000/month.
