Eligibility Criteria for HAL ESM Technician Recruitment 2025
1. Age Limit (as of 01-04-2025)
- Maximum Age: 28 years.
- Age relaxation for Ex-Servicemen is applicable as per Government of India norms:
Ex-Servicemen with continuous service of 6 months or more can deduct their service period from their actual age, with a relaxation of up to 3 years.
SC/ST: 5 years of relaxation.
OBC (Non-Creamy Layer): 3 years of relaxation.
PwBD candidates: 10 years of relaxation.
Candidates domiciled in Jammu & Kashmir between 01/01/1980 and 31/12/1989: 5 years of relaxation.
- Maximum upper age limit with relaxation: 55 years.
2. Educational Qualification
- Service trade/certificates/qualifications in the Engine Fitter trade from the Indian Air Force.
- Qualification is considered equivalent to a Diploma in Mechanical Engineering.

The selected candidates will be paid a consolidated monthly remuneration which includes:

The selection process for the HAL ESM Technician (Engine Fitter) Recruitment 2025 starts with candidates submitting their applications through their Zila Sainik Boards/Rajya Sainik Boards. Eligible candidates will be shortlisted and called for a Written Test, and the details of the test will be communicated individually.
Those who pass the Written Test will be invited for Document Verification, where their documents will be checked. Candidates attending Document Verification will be reimbursed 2nd Class Train/Bus fare for travel. After successful verification, they will undergo a Pre-employment Medical Examination.
