TIFR Tradesman Trainees – Trade Apprentices Recruitment 2025: The Tata Institute of Fundamental Research (TIFR), Mumbai, has released the official notification for the recruitment of Tradesman Trainees – Trade Apprentices under the Apprentices Act, 1961.

Per the TIFR Apprenticeship 2025 Notification (Advt. No. 2025/7), the selection will be done through a walk-in process scheduled on Thursday, May 29, 2025, at 9:30 AM. Interested and eligible candidates can attend the walk-in selection at TIFR, Mumbai.

TIFR Tradesman Trainees 2025 Post Details

TIFR has announced eight vacancies for Tradesman Trainees – Trade Apprentices across three designated trades. Selected candidates will be engaged for training on a stipendiary basis of ₹18,500 per month.

Eligibility Criteria

Candidates applying for the TIFR Trade Apprentices 2025 must meet the required educational qualifications and age criteria outlined below.

Selection Process

The selection of candidates will be based on a written test and merit.

The merit list will be prepared based on marks secured in all ITI semesters (minimum 60%) and the written test (minimum 40%).

Candidates will be assessed on:

Technical Acumen in the relevant trade
Generic Aptitude including Quantitative Aptitude and Reasoning Abilities
Mathematical and ITI syllabus knowledge
