1- More than 10 lakh students from schools and colleges of Lucknow set a world record by simultaneously reading the books for 45 minutes as part of ‘Padhe Lucknow, Badhe Lucknow’ campaign initiated by Governor Anandiben Patel.
लखनऊ के स्कूलों और कॉलेजों के 10 लाख से अधिक छात्रों ने राज्यपाल आनंदीबेन पटेल द्वारा शुरू किए गए ‘पढे लखनऊ, बढ़े लखनऊ’ अभियान के हिस्से के रूप में एक साथ 45 मिनट के लिए पुस्तकों को पढ़कर विश्व रिकॉर्ड बनाया।
2- Defence minister Rajnath Singh attended the annual day celebrations of Defence Accounts Department. Defence Minister also gave away the Raksha Mantri Excellence Awards to employees of the department showing exemplary performance standards.

5- Reserve Bank of India has announced two contests to promote innovations and ideas in the payment and settlement systems. Shortlisted participants will get an opportunity to present their ideas before a jury of eminent persons while outstanding innovators will be awarded prizes and citations. The contest will be organised through the Institute for Development and Research in Banking Technology (IDRBT), Hyderabad.

6- Road, Transport and Highways Minister Nitin Gadkari inaugurated the third phase of Delhi-Meerut Expressway.It connects Dasna in Ghaziabad to Hapur. The over 22-kilometre long section has been built at a cost of 1,058 crore rupees. The project is part of 82-kilometre long Expressway which connects Delhi with Meerut in western Uttar Pradesh.
सड़क, परिवहन और राजमार्ग मंत्री नितिन गडकरी ने दिल्ली-मेरठ एक्सप्रेसवे के तीसरे चरण का उद्घाटन किया। यह गाजियाबाद के डासना को हापुड़ से जोड़ता है। 22 किलोमीटर लंबे इस सेक्शन को 1,058 करोड़ रुपये की लागत से बनाया गया है। यह परियोजना 82 किलोमीटर लंबे एक्सप्रेसवे का हिस्सा है जो दिल्ली को पश्चिमी उत्तर प्रदेश के मेरठ से जोड़ता है।
7-In Assam, in order to gradually collect and remove the harmful plastics from the ecosystem, Bongaigaon District administration is going to launch a campaign ‘Plants for Plastic’. The campaign aims to encourage people to collect and remove plastic from their houses, commercial establishments and educational institutions.

8- Government has issued a notification regarding minimum stipend payable to trade apprentices. According to the notification, Trade apprentices will get a minimum monthly stipend ranging from 5 thousand to 9 thousand rupees.
