1- President’s rule has been imposed in Maharashtra. The state legislative assembly has been kept under suspended animation. This follows Governor Bhagat Singh Koshyari’s report to the Centre which stated that the formation of a stable government is impossible in the current situation despite all his efforts.

3- Mauritius’s incumbent Prime Minister Pravind Jugnauth was sworn in for a five-year term after elections in which his coalition consolidated its grip on parliament.Mr Jugnauth’s swearing-in took place at the residence of President Barlen Vyapoory. He proposed a new cabinet of 23 members.

4- The 11th BRICS Summit is being held in Brazil’s capital Brasilia from 13th . BRICS comprises Brazil, Russia, India, China and South Africa. The theme of this year’s summit is “Economic Growth for an Innovative Future.”

5- Mexico has given asylum to Bolivia’s former President Evo Morales in the country. He resigned on 10 November 2019 amid mounting pressure from the army and the public following the allegations of disturbances in the election results.

6-14-day India International Trade Fair 2019 will begin on 14th November 2019.The theme for the 39th edition of the fair (November 14-27, 2019) is ‘Ease of Doing Business’ inspired by India’s unique achievement of rising to 63rd rank on the World Bank’s Ease of Doing Business Index from 142nd rank in the year 2014.The fair will be inaugurated by Minister of Micro, Small and Medium Enterprises (MSME) Nitin Gadkari.
